Is this really Purple Heart Wandering Jew?

I was looking at an eBay auction for a Setcreasea pallida (Variegated Purple Heart plant). The plant pictured in the auction (shown below) looks as if it has pink striations.

When I referenced this plant in our Plants Database, none of the pictures showed any color variation like this.

Does anyone know if exposure to sun or shade causes these variegated colors? Or is the plant incorrectly identified? I'd like to know because it certainly is pretty!

yes the sun cause the different color, I have this plant, if you want some of it I will root you some. LMK.

Nina, that is so kind of you! Thank you. I will send an e-mail.

The auction was up to $10-$12 for a couple of non-rooted cuttings, I think because the picture shows such pretty coloring.

So it it MORE exposure to sun that produces the pinkish coloring? Again, thanks!
