93* heat and 30 mph winds did in the dragon lilly today,it was just cracked open when I left for work this morning, and when I got home from work looked like this.

Well I'm thinking about digging her up and trading her off,if some one made me an offer I can't refuse!!It needs to go to a home of cooler spring weather.

Tulsa, OK(Zone 7a)

i want one but would do not rather have anything to compare for a trade..you would miss her i bet or him???? i want one to get my hus. once but good...

Edgewater, MD(Zone 7a)

Me too, I do have a spare Maki bulb but I dont think that compares at all, plus its kinda small. What would be an equal trade for something like that?

Bushland, TX(Zone 6a)

Up date,I dug up the bulb today to my surprise the very top portion has started to rot,a week ago we had heavy rains which flood waters were over the flowerbeds just for one day,but much have been too much for the dragon lilly,I clean the top portion off,and have set it out to dry, time will tell if it will be ok,hopefully I caught it early enough.

I hope so, it really is a beautiful flower.

Sorry you didn't get to enjoy it.

I don't have anything that I could offer as a 1 for 1 trade, but if you think the rot will clear up, your more than welcome to take a look at our current inventory. If there's anything you're interested in, I'm sure we could work something out.
