My collection
Very pretty! I noticed some of yours have stakes in them. I never knew we were supposed to stake them! Do you think mine will be ok without them? Their trunks seem to be getting nice and thick.
You have nice, healthy looking plants. Brugs are fun.
Thanks
I have stakes in them beacuse they are outside, it's often breezy here, and I want them fairly straight. I don't know if I'm supposed to stake them or not, just something I did.
Linda
Gosh... those are looking pretty good! Staking is a good move. I learned my lesson the hard way and some of my plants look like figure 8s!
Nice looking plants Linda.
Sue, I have a few of those too. Our storms this spring have just sent them from one direction to another and they don't have time to grow straight.
They look great Linda. Once you start feeding them every time you look at them they'll really take off for you.
Stakes are good. Might as well get them straight right from the start.

Great collection there!
Great collection! Aren't these plants terrific! Some days you can watch them grow!!
Enjoy!
Bonnie
Well, since it can get windy here, as well, I think next time I repot mine I'll add some stakes. Thanks for the suggestion!
Hallo Linda! You have a nice collection. The plants look very healthy.
Oh Thank you for the Compliments, it's such a thrill to grow these and share the enthuseasum (sp). Some of the flowers that others post or just to drool over. As Liz said, I feed them as much as they will take, using 20-20-20.
On my CDW, the one I posted as a funny bud, the 4 flowers have some out with the main corolla not descending down the calyx. The main corolla starts right at the stem where the calyx starts, and the calyx is split all the way to the stem.
I'm not complaining, it still looks and smells nice, and there's lot's of blooms yet to come, but it's just different. The first 3 blooms this year on it were wonderful. Oh well, I'll take it as it comes!
Linda
