Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Looks great. Mine nearly died out on me over the winter, but with some tender loving care I think I can get it going well again. How do you keep your ears wet enough? Full time sprinklers?

Harrisville, MI(Zone 5b)

I like the way the Ears point back, that is great color!WHat kind of shade are they getting?

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

Brugie, yes, we have sprinklers, but I only turn them on once a week.
Root, they are in full, all day sun. So far, so good.
I had to move the yellow one and the variegated ones to mostly shade though, they did not like the hot sun.

Harrisville, MI(Zone 5b)

Marshfield, MO(Zone 6a)

I have my Black Magic in the pond, it really likes it there.

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

They attract gators?? OH NO!
CC, don't you have this one? Hopefully it will have babies soon. I'll threaten to put it in the resaca with the gator if it doesn't reproduce!

You are both doing a great job and they look just beautiful. Mine are just now coming along and starting to put on some growth! I love them so much!

Hello,
I am looking for some Black Magic Taro if anyone has any to share let me know. I can pay shipping & small fee. If need be.
Thanks
Shellie

I got one from Breck's, and it was the tiniest EE I had ever seen! It was only about 2 inches tall, with 2 leaves the size of quarters. They sent me another when I complained... yes, it WAS a little larger, but it was the 2nd smallest EE I had ever seen. Really pathetic. It will be a long time before they will be like yours!

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

They grow really fast. These were very small when I planted them in January.

Hillsboro, OH(Zone 6a)

LOL Julie! I have had some of those myself.

Susie, you must STILL be having a great time down there! I may have some things for you when our cooler weather sets in. You know how I have to be picky about what can live inside come winter. I can send you six kids or a bunch of plants. I'll let you decide. :)

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

Hmmmmmmm....I have a teenager, so I'll take the plants, lol. I have decided plants aren't picky about what they eat or wear and don't mess up their rooms. The worst thing they do is get leaves in my pool, so I like plants best!

Hillsboro, OH(Zone 6a)

LMBO Geeze, go figure! :) Hey, the little ones do not know the word 'designer' yet.

Cedar Key, FL(Zone 9a)

Just wait......the big ones teach them young

We are just as bad...think about it
If the plant doesent have a name no one wants it

And the plants that don't have "names" are ridiculed

just like if you wear K mart jeans
