This is the first blooming of Monster-a cutting I got in trade at the end of last summer. It is a really beautiful brug. Does anyone know any history on this hybrid?

Welcome to the Brug forum Flicker. Looking good there! Didn't Donna have a great white she calls Monster brug? I think it is very floriferous. I can't remember if it looks like a suaveolens.

Gloria, sadly my Rosamond never gets very dark. How dark can it get??

My goal in life! It is such an incredible brug though. So huge! So breathtaking!

This is about as dark as it gets. Well maybe a little darker in the summer.

Kell, when they get real dark they won't show up against the dark foliage as well. I think that color is gorgeous and about perfect.

Me too! Can't get much better. Thanks for sharing. Would you believe I have buds on a few brugs already, if we don't have a storm, or bugs eat them.......whatever.

Plus Kell, when you take the wonderful pictures you do at night... we wont be able to see the brug if its too dark. I think its high time you stop thinking about yourself, and let us keep enjoying your pictures!! :o) (please know Im kidding)
