A very generous DG'er !!! Look and see !!!

San Jose, CA(Zone 9a)

Around noon Tracy/lilystorm, Sue/Cal_Sue and I took a ride up to Candy's/ Happenstances house to visit and to get some cutting! Three hours later...3 happy, tired woman got in our van and returned home. The other tired woman was continuing her day assisting her child.

This is our bounty...Candy is a most generous and warm person. I am so glad to have had the opportunity to meet her here at DG's!

Thank you Candy!!!

ROTF, LOL, whew, how's this, I hate your guts, huh??!!! You know that's a joke, okay??????? I really do wish I could have been there for your party, what fun!!! Had I been invited, I would likely have jumped a plane. Just in case you wondered, I have not been twiddling my thumbs - by chance, I ran into a couple of locals that 'have heard' of Angel Trumpets and have agreed to grow some out for me. They are, IMO, master gardners. i cannot wait to see how this works out!!! I hope your party was fun, I just know it was!!! SherryLike

Looks like the makings of a fancy salad! What kind of plants are they? Sounds like a great time!

Here's half of my bounty, in vases and glasses on the kitchen garden window. Need to go buy some loose potting medium. Lots of sedums and foliage plants. Spent the evening looking up info. Dreaming...thanks Candy!!

And between cuttings and chatting, I managed to get a few pictures of the garden when some clouds rolled by.

I'm a little late getting here to say what a great time it was yesterday (anyone else having withdrawal symptoms not being able to check in at DG ???!!!) .......3 hours was just not enough to cover everything and little time to chat and relax, but we did get lots of cuttings passed around. And I came out with a good deal on two lovely Day Lillies and some of Margie's beautiful note cards! Thanks to Sue & Tracey and Margie it was such a fun day.

Giant Timber Bamboo (it's a clumper, not a runner):

And I think you mean the Kangaroo Paus in the CG photo, have a closeup of them from March, but DG system doesn't appear to be able to handle images uploaded right not.

Trying for the Kangaroo Paws again.
