Hi everyone

Hackettstown, NJ(Zone 6a)

I am a new member from New Jersey. I'm excited about being here and I am sure I will learn alot from everyone. I do not know a whole lot about gardening but it seems that I do alright when growing plants. I live in an apartment and often grow plants inside. This year I went out and bought a bunch of plants for my porch. So far they are doing just fine.
I look foward to sharing with you all. Thanks

Welcome to Daves Garden, Tulip. Sounds like you will have a lot of fun growing plants on your porch. What kinds of plants do you have? I'm growing lots of brugmansia, cannas, elephant ears and many other things, but those are my biggest obsessions right now. Roses are quickly coming into that group. Hope to see you around the forums.

Thank you everyone for your kind welcome. Yes, I think I will be here often and I can see I will learn alot from all of you.

Brugie I recently perchased baby's angel's tears, lambs ears, double impatients, swedish ivy, beacon silver lamium, lavender, begonia's, geraniums, dragn's blood. hen chicks and the list goes on.

In my neck of the woods there is a nursery that has over 30 green houses and the prices are dirt cheap. One can spend $40.00 and before you run out of flowers you'll run out of dirt and room in your garden.

I'm an artist and I love to paint flower's so gardening and painting keep me quite relaxed with the hussle that life can bring.

Have a great day everyone.

Hey tulip, you will have to post some of your paintings on one of the forums. I'd love to see your work.
