Azomite

Does anyone have experience (positive or negative) using Azomite as a mineral supplement?

Hmmm...I never have, Corbas. It looks interesting though.

Have you decided to try it?

I ordered several bags a few years ago, and have been using it. I can't really discern an objective difference, but haven't done any "controlled" studies, either. This season I'm going to grow two beds of peppers; one with and one without, side by side. These are brand new beds, amended with composted horse manure but no mineral supplements. I wondered if anyone else had done something like that.

I do lots of "experiments" and thoroughly enjoy them. Sounds like you'll find out for sure if the azomite works by doing your peppers w/ it.

I remember reading about it and it said it is to be used in conjunction with manure or some other plant food, not just by itself.

I just bought 4 bags and will be useing it in my beds this year...
