Showing a little growth

Mount Hermon, LA(Zone 8b)

My first attempt at brugs.

I had the sickly peach versicolor and bought a 'Snowbank' back in early April of this year.

I snapped this picture yesterday. They look a little better (I think).

you can see the difference. what did you do to bring the long lanky one to health?

Karrie, all I did was replant it in a new (and larger) container and moved it to a partly-shaded area.

These have never been fertilized. I keep looking for that Peters 20-20-20, but can't seem to find it locally. I'm going to try Miracle-Gro until I can find the Peters.

I'm just thankful that they are growing. For years, I seemed cursed with a 'Black Thumb' and killed any plant I even LOOKED at. LOL.

Looking good.

Hey, Yours is looking good compared to mine. I grow a leaf and lose a leaf. I'm lucky to have 5 leaves. The lwhite keeps drying up!It's going to go outside as I have babied it enough! I'll find a spot that isn't too sunny and see what happens! Bonnie

LASweetPea - call your local nurseries for the Peters 20-20-20. All or most of the nurseries in my area use it and that is where I got mine. The best nursery in my area, 8a, uses 13-13-13 and I alternate with that. Of course they fert every time they water, which is often daily. I go back and forth. I will say that since I've been using the Peters 20-20-20 that I have HUGE leaves, and they are really green, just hope that doesn't give me teeny, tiny blossoms, whew!!!
