Buccaneer Palm, Cherry Palm
Pseudophoenix sargentii

relatively large plant for southern California- this one in Orange County... probably over 10 years old

The reason I ask is that I did not know anything about this palm until today. There is one that looks exactly like this one for sale. It has the same flat dual ranks for growth (must be common for this palm when young) and is the same size. It is a little more blue in colloration, but is basically the same as the pic. It is a bueatiful palm and stands out for sure. Hoewever..... the price? Any guess?

$1000 !!!

Not something I want to spend to take a chance on a palm that might not even do well in 10a.

Funny, in Florida a tree that size would probably only fetch $100. Grows SO much better there.
