how many pages on the 'net?

Antrim, Northern Ire, United Kingdom(Zone 8b)

well there are over 28 million pages of information on the 'net as of January 2001. many are single pages but large companies, like TV stations, have thousands of pages.

if you took 1 minute to view the home page, add on the time to type the address, how long it takes to download and move to the next page you would be surfing for 53 years.

if you look at every page on each web site, average of 100 pages, it would take 5,300 years.

so I though my own web site, www.batdetective.com, was big with 20 pages of information.

information gleaned from Focus, July 2001 which is my favorite read after all my monthly gardening mags.
