Golden Lady!

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

Another one of my loves. Poor brug has had one malady after another! I left it out in the elements last winter and it really had some problems but has just taken off growing like crazy. GL loves to pod!

Very pretty!

I love this one. Always blooms well and the blooms are nice, unlike some of the other doubles that have some singles and deformed blooms. She smells great, the blooms are long lasting, and she loves the sun.

She is a beauty Kell. Great photo!!

New Iberia, LA(Zone 9a)

Mine only got orangy for a few blooms, Brugie. Has yours? They are really nice with color also. But white works for me.

Kell, you're going to have to quit abusing those brugs! It looks like it's recovered nicely though.

Needville, TX(Zone 9a)

They look so pretty! Do brugs make good cut flowers? I wouldnt think so, but I dont know. I can imagine even if they arent, having one in the house for a couple hours would fill the house for awhile.

Sangs lasted a couple of days for me but my other brugs wilted fairly fast.

The Golden Lady flowers lasted for a couple of days. Species flowers usually last a while too, but the singles are gone in an hour or two.

I will have to try some GL then Brugie. That one just blooms and blooms!

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Something I thought was strange is that the GL blooms smelled good the first night, but the next night they had no fragrance. Species smelled great each night and I had my nose in it all the time. I was at Renee's and her plant was blooming in Feb. in the basement. I brought a bloom upstairs and put it in water beside my chair. Awesome fragrance, especially when the snow is flying outside.

Beautiful shot and beautiful brug. Donna
