Here is my friends huge yellow no name. It is as tall as the house now and so wide!! 3 year sold.
It makes me reevaluate all I do with my brugs at home. This is planted in the worst soil I have ever seen. I think they hauled in waste soil just to build it up. It is full of rocks and nails and old metal. But everything is growing great in it. The girl who helps me maintain the plants thinks it is all the rusty metal in the soil.
I do throw handfuls of the cheapest fertilizer HD sells every once in a while. I think it is 20-20 -20 or maybe 16-16-16.

Oh my gosh, that thing is huge and pretty! go snap me a piece Kell :)
These are amazing!
WOW...spectacular plants and blooms!!! As I have said before I have harmed plants more with my care and concern and over-watering....than I ever did with neglect!! This seems like it is true for others too!!
"California, here I come"! We have nothing like this here.
Kell -- are those planted in the ground? If so, my next question would be, why do you over-winter yours inside? That's a truly awesome looking brug, in fact, all three plants are beautiful! Thanks for the pictures.
We have not had a bad frost for several years, but you never know when one will hit Gretchen. I live closer to the water and it gets colder here than at this house which is a little more inland.
I had many brugs make it outdoors this winter but a few did get frost burned. And then with the heavy rains we have all winter they rotted and I had to toss them.
Yes, these are all planted in the worst dirt you have ever seen in the ground. Full of rocks and metal scrap. It is amazing how they thrive!
