Have Lakeside Hostas, for Tree peony

Ladoga, IN(Zone 6a)

I have a pretty nice collection of Lakeside hostas, including "Lakeside Mom", and I'm really longing for a tree peony(of equal value and preferably pink,)So, if you have one to swap, let's talk! I will be out of town most of the day, at my grand daughter's b-day party, but will respond this evening.

Would you believe that I found tree peonies at Walmart, this afternoon, for $9.00 each?!!!! I bought two pink ones and one red. Each have at least two growing stalks, and it states that they are two years old. They look very healthy!I know that they could very easily be mislabled, but I'm hoping for at least one pink one out the bunch.

Hi, Dees. Glad to hear you found tree peonies. Can you tell me if they are in bloom or is there any indication of a timeline of when they are expected to bloom? I have a 1 yr-old that I just purchased on line and it is growing quite hardily. I have potted it, waiting to prepare the ground where I will plant it in a few weeks. Yours sound lovely.

I think that I read on line that that they begin blooimng at three years of age, but don't hold me to that. Mine are healthy looking, but have no blooms. I'm just hoping that each get at least one bloom, next year, so I'll know their true colors.
