About durn time!

Crestview, FL(Zone 7b)

After 3 years of trying to get my Herrenhauser Garten to bloom and watching with a very sad face as it continously dropped its buds, I finally have success!! As you can see it hasn't started coloring up yet and I don't know how deep a color it will get as we are already in the mid to upper 80's here in Florida.

WTG MM. You have got to be excited ... one of the few to have theirs bloom.

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Yes, don't get too close. Mine bloomed last year in the fall and the bloom dropped off on the third day. It didn't even have a chance to get that orange color. I hope she drops her skirts and colors up really nice for you. Don't forget to get pictures when it happens.

See, all it needed was a change of scenery. It must approve of your new house!! I am envious. I have several plants for several years now and they do not even set buds.

Denver, CO(Zone 5b)

Congratulations MzM!!

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

Medford, NJ(Zone 6b)

YEAH blooms!!!! I blame Cala for sending me one last year LOL. I swore I wouldn't winter it over. Of course I did. To add insult to injury, I planted it in a 'prime' planting location. If I don't get blooms this summer I'm sending it to Texas....

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Hey, I got mine from Susie about three summers ago. If mine doesn't do anything this summer, I think I'll send it back too. LOL!

Grass Lake, MI(Zone 5a)

I got mine from Susie too .... have had no blooms on mine either!

Medford, NJ(Zone 6b)

You sure are going to have a lot of HG tree's come fall. Heck, I might even ship myself with my HG package. I'll winter over there too. Pay back time. LOL Are you scared?

Deb-send me your address. I'm a big honking dork and forgot to email you.

Lima, OH(Zone 5a)

Love it! Hope mine does SOMETHING this summer.

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

I hope mine blooms this year. It had buds twice last year, but both times they dropped.
Looks like I'll have to make a special HG garden for all the ones that don't bloom. Guess I could make it down by the gator hang-out!

Denver, CO(Zone 5b)

Gosh! It sure is pretty!! Congrats again MzM!
lol Susie, maybe the gator poo will do somthing for the HG? :o)

San Jose, CA(Zone 9a)

MsM....Just beautiful !!! I love the color on the second photo of todays! Please post as it is gets darker...that darkening feature of brugs is really interesting to me!

Are there other flowers that do that also? Anyone know?

Orange Park, FL(Zone 8b)

Trish so beautiful, I'm in awe and growing anxious for my little one. I thought for the longest time I would lose it. All of a sudden it is covered with leaves and looks so cute.

Whatcha think 3 - 5 years before I see flowers? I will wait however long it takes!

Needville, TX(Zone 9a)

WOW, Congrats!

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

Most of them do that, Margie.

Wow Ms. Munché!! Are you crossing it with something special??

North Vancouver, BC(Zone 8b)

Congrats MsM!
Mine bloomed last spring and as a first bloom it took 5 days to color up to full orange. But the blooms last 8-10 days each. After the first blooms it was quicker to color. It's well worth the wait.
