I have lots of yellow irises to trade. I am looking for any other iris. Preferably bold colored types. Also looking for tropicals. Will do SASE if anyone is interested. These are about 3 foot tall when they bloom.

Bug I have some pretty ditch irises I dug up and some others in small pots that are indestructable. Both are purple. I'm coming that way Saturday to spend the weekend with Trish. We have to be at the Air Force base for 7 a.m. Sunday to go Bird watching with the Audubon Society. If you want some e-mail me and give me your phone# so I can get in touch with you. I could use some of the yellows. Pic is of ones in small pots grown from seed last year. Others are lighter almost blue found in a ditch near my home.

Molly I can get more if I'm brave enough. Would have to wade out a little to get them lol. About how many do you want that I can fit into a triangle priority shipping box or other long box if I can find one. They are about 2 to 3' tall. I'm Interested in a couple of blue porterweed plants.

I have plenty. Since you are coming out, do you prefer to leave them entact instead of cutting them down for ease of transport? I can cut them down to the rhizome if you prefer. I would love your ditch irises. They are really neat looking. I like their color a lot.

Bug the PIC is of the ones in the POTS I grew from seed last year NOT the ditch irises. The ditch irises are a lighter purple bluish with a little yellow. I can't find the pic. It is on a thread about LA irises some where on Daves or BGI but I think here. I didn't keep it because it was not a good pic. Please leave mine entact. No cutting needed. I'll be in a truck. I'll just bring you some of both and if you decide you don't want it you can trade it lol. E-mail me you phone # and any other wants you may have since I am heading that way and can bring them with me and I'll see what I can come up with.

Sorry about my confusion. I see that I read your posting way to fast and didn't absorb all the info it contained. I would love both irises if you can spare. I have been building up my collection of plants pretty fast. Thanks to the help of all of you kind folks at the round ups. I can't wait til next year's growing season. I might be able to return some of the favors to you guys.
Any other wants??? Well, anything you can spare really (the more odd or tropical the better). My beds are far from full still. When you come out you can poke around and see what you like that I have. Maybe you can take some cuttings with you or I can mail them to you when you return from your birdwatching. I'll e-mail you my phone number.
