It is very light, but you never know. I have never seen this one or I would tell you how it did forme. I think Brugie has this one. I will think deep pink all night for you and for me.

Well, she got pretty beaten up in last night's storm (AGAIN!), but she looks a lot like a Frosty...We'll see if she darkens up any.

Here is a closeup of my Rose Suaveolens.

That's beautiful, Shirley!

I have done side by side comparisons of this one and my Frosty that's blooming right now and they are virtually indistinguishable. Maybe it will darken tomorrow. I remember Amanda posting that her cutting of this plant bloomed white this Spring, so I'm very happy it has color, and I love it regardless of what it is!!!

THANK YOU, AMANDA!!!

Bruigi, do they all have 6 points?

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Kell, a lot of them did on this plant. I don't think these are the same bloom. This picture was taken two days before the first one I posted.

Thanks Gretchen. This one definitely is a good bloomer. Just keeps going and going. Even if yours is a Frosty, also a suaveolens, it is a pretty one. Frosty is a never fail brug. Right now I'd love to have a couple of them blooming in my yard. We didn't have storms last night, but it was downright cold here and still is today. At least the sun is trying to come out now. Hope your weather straightens up for you. It gets old trying to fight the elements.

Pretty pictures

Well, I just don't know what to think about this weather! I mowed today around standing water -- just couldn't put it off any longer. On a positive note, the brugs are loving it. Knowing our weather though, dry times are probably just around the corner. And I do love this and the other Frosties!!!

PS: Shirley -- is it usually warm at your place by now?

Gretchen, this is very unusual. Tonight is supposed to get down to 37 and 34 is the record low. Things should look up after that. Sure glad the tropicals are still in the basement except for a few ears and the brugs. Well, three hibiscus are planted outside and they will just have to tough it out or die.

GOD's Green Earth, United States(Zone 8b)

Well I am saying a little prayer for you as I write this, that your temp stays warm enough for everything to make it through okay. I know you'll be relieved to have this behind you!

Beautiful Gretchen and Shirley. Got lucky and missed the storms last night and today but don't know about the rest of the weekend.

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

I think it has been a rough spring for a lot of us. Hope everything starts looking up!!

Ddi you tender plants make it OK Brugie?

Brundidge, AL(Zone 8b)

It should darken up for you Gretchen but it is still pretty. I will have to post when the other rooted cutting I kept from this plant blooms.

GOD's Green Earth, United States(Zone 8b)

Amanda: It did darken slightly. Its very similar to the Frosties. I love it!!!

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Amazingly Kell, my hibiscus didn't miss a beat with the temp. drop. Everything looks just fine today.

GOD's Green Earth, United States(Zone 8b)

Oh, Shirley -- I'm so glad for you!

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Thanks Gretchen. Tomorrow is a day of rest, and by George, I'm going to do that. I worked all day today and I'm tired. Things are finally starting to look like they are supposed to. More organized now. Have a great Sunday.

GOD's Green Earth, United States(Zone 8b)

You're welcome, and thank you! I'm hoping to do the same thing. I have a few little brugs left that I had promised to a DG'er, but I've been unable to get in touch with for over a month (I didn't want to send them and have them die in a mailbox if she's not home, so I'm going to go ahead a plant them in the garden tomorrow. Its too hard to keep them happy in the little pots. Maybe she'll get back in touch with me and settle for some Fall cuttings (I hope). Other than that, Church and then hopefully a free afternoon! Happy Sunday!!!

Amanda: It did turn out to be a deeper shade of pink and has a little longer tendrils than Frosty. She really is a beauty!

Thank you!!!

Wonder why they didn't bud earlier for you? Or, are these permanently in the ground. That's a gorgeous bloom in your picture -- can't wait to see more of your pictures!

Brundidge, AL(Zone 8b)

They are permenantly in the ground. All of mine are here. We bought a double wide and the man came to survey were to put it. and we realized that I have to dig up 100 plants and two trees. I got so nausous i cancelledthe sell and decided to wait till next year.

GOD's Green Earth, United States(Zone 8b)

Bless your heart! Maybe you should jus take lots of cuttings this fall so you won't have to worry about it! That would be a real bummer... But, the new house sounds like fun :)
