They look nice and healthy. Looks like one of those seedlings that has what looks like a Y at an early age.

Sue this pot did have 5 more coming up. I went out the other morning and the cats had munched two tops off to the soil.

I know Shirley! wondering if it really is & the leaves are bunched at the ends both sides :)

I was going to jump in and say I have some of that cross too - LOL!

The leaves are fuzzy aren't they? I hope they'll bring some good color. You have a better chance at first year blooms than I do with your long growing season. It will be fun to see how they turn out. This cross is the one I have biggest hopes for outta my own seeds.

Your seedlings look nice and healthy. Hoping you see blooms this year!!

Susie's cross Kells Girlie Girl x L'Amour - I have one that has done the same thing, looks like a little Y. Will try to remember to take a photo of it.

Congrats LadySwan -- they're great looking babies!

I did this same cross last year. I have several seedlings that are 18 inches tall already. Each seedling has different leaf shapes. :-)

Eclipse posted: Each seedling has different leaf shapes. :-)

Newbie here - I've noticed a difference in almost all of my plants, with exception of the ones that came from local nurseries. Is that typical?? Or, are most leaves alike?? I'm not sure that made sense, but the plants I have that arrived with 'names', have different leaf shape, texture, etc. The plants without names tend to have very similar leaves. Or, is that my anal imagination???

Sherry, seedlings can be from the same hyrid crossing but still have many differences in their leaf shapes. Some crosses there is little or no difference between seedlings. Yu never know what you're gonna git! :-) Same cultivars will have the same leaves no matter where they were purchased. :-)
