I have so many buds and flowers on this one. I just love it.
L'Amour changing color
So beautiful Kell. Hope this rain we are finally getting doesn't knock all my bloom pods off.
Oooh thats a beautiful color there! Looks like it belongs in a little girls blanket. Great pic Kell.
Is it coming down hard, Donna? I will say a little prayer for you! The worst is when you lose the first ones or the last of the season!
I notice you and I are the last ones on lots of nights Donna. I have 2 hours on you. Why are you up so late? Do you work late or just a night owl. I hate to go to bed and then hate to get out of it!
I'm a night owl. I have worked nights most of my life and this last job I worked anywhere from til midnight to 3 a.m. I am not a morning person at all, never have been. I used to be late for school all the time as a kid because I just couldn't get up. If I to go to bed and I'm not sleepy all I do is toss and turn and wake DH up and he has to get up at 3:30 a.m. so I usually just stay up and have coffee with him then go to bed when he leaves for work. DH is one of those early to bed early to rise kind of people that's snoring before his head hits the pillow. He even wakes up at the same time on the week ends. 95% of the time he's up before his alarm goes off. I can count on one hand in 20 years that he has slept to 7:00 a.m.
Sounds like my DH and me! LOL. Mismatched but in love!
LOLOL so true.
I love to watch the flowers change colors.
When butterfly bloomed this last time I was able to get her tendrils showing pink and yellow at the same time.
I stand in awe watching these don't you?
What a great photo Kell ... she is a beauty!!
Oh Kell...just beautiful...they look like they are glowing!
I am so jealous. I want blooms, lots of blooms. What am I not doing?
Very pretty. I went out after the early morning storms and have a lot of smaller brugs that are pretty muddy and my L'Amour was on the ground. Had not put it in a big pot yet so it was just laying down and covered with mud. I'm probably lucky it wasn't in a big pot as the winds could have snapped it.
You mean you are not sleeping with your L'Amour Brugie? For shame on you!
Poor Linda, is the weather OK where you are? All of a sudden mine are all full of buds. It seems to happen overnight. We will wait for your pics!! It will happen soon fo ryou.
Kell, I slept with all my brugs all winter. I needed a break. I still have Species and New Ocre in the house, only because I forgot about them and there is one little lone seedling under light yet. All the rest are outside or in the greenhouse.
Beautiful brug Donna.
You are so lucky yours grows up, Donna. Mine is a sprawler. Must sprawl 4 ft sideways in 3 directions. Takes up too much room!! I would just love an alley tree of this!
Kell and DonnaB - your photos are so pretty, each one better than the last!
Speaking of the weather, I surely hope our friends and family in Louisiana & Mississippi and the other stormy areas, are all okay. DonnaB, is Ocean Springs near Biloxi?? I have a dog pal there and I haven't heard from her yet. I surely hope that all of you escaped with no injuries or damage!! SherryLike
Kell would you believe I prefer the sprawlers and not alley trees. LOL. I just got it in the fall so it's not to big yet. Sherry We did o.k. here. I see a huge limb down from neighbors tree hanging over my fence DH is going to have to move when he gets home.
I have no room Donna. If I have a standard, I can plant all sorts of things underneath............a sprawler takes up too much room top to bottom and side to side!
