southeast, NE

Good evening everyone! Everyone must be really busy as it is very quiet here.

We survived Julia's graduation. The degree was signed. We had a nice open house. I had way too much food prepared. I am enjoying having her around this summer. She is working part time and then comes home and makes supper for us. And then she goes out and helps her dad outside. She is cleaning out her room and some of her stuff out of the basement. A friend of hers is letting her use her garage in Lincoln for a garage sale.

We have been getting some nice needed rains. Julia is starting the artif. insemination process. We have decided to sell Nelda, Missy and Della and their calves. Nelda will be the hardest to sell as she has been on this place since 1993 and she was Julia's bucket calf. But she even agreed that she would rather sell her than to go out and find her dead some day. And we are running out of pasture space.

Hope every is doing well. Kathy Jo - how is your husband?

Better go - you all take care.
