My pond - all it's faces

Hawkinsville, GA(Zone 8b)

Here are several pictures of my pond during the year long construction. I will be building a waterfall next.

This was dug deeper before I put the liner in.

This was the way it looked most of the year....

I added flat rock yesterday! Yay! I am trying to make a plan for a waterfall at the moment.

Oh wow! the work you've done! How big is your pond feet by feet? I want one. Not really practicable here in this high desert. You go girl.

Great job! Nice pond. Any fish there? Where do you sit and watch?

I am not quite sure about the size of it now. ( I dug out the edges a little more before I added the last rock and also raised the water level a bit by folding the liner over the bottom two layers of rock ) It is probably around 16 foot long.

I have Koi and Goldfish in it. They are just babies at the moment. I have tons of tadpoles at the moment and frogs!

I hope to be able to add a stone bench or something soon. Now I just drag my white plastic chairs up to the edge to watch the fish. Actually I have been so busy lately working in my yard that I haven't been able to watch them much.

This is my first pond and I had no help with building it. I have many wants but this is what I have actually been able to accomplish. Will be doing something to hide this hose soon. I am going to add more stone around it and also plan on some plant to hide where it enters the water.

So Lana, what have you used to hide your hoses? I need to find a way also and hoped I could get some ideas from you. Any new pics?
