I do not think these are ever going to get ripe!!

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

Pollinated...I think 11/1/03. And I just squeezed them and they are still hard. So huge though. Biggest pods I have ever seen.

Good Grief! Are you sure those aren't watermellons?
Whats the cross on those pods Kell?

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

going to bed, falling asleep! It is L'A X RK. I am anxious to see what I get with crossing it back to RK, its parent!

Orange Park, FL(Zone 8b)

Interesting :)
I HOPE they will be ready soon Kell.

Lima, OH(Zone 5a)

Luscious! Look good enough to eat? Fried Green Brug pods..
Nah, don't think so! Hope they ripen soon for you.

Montgomery, AL(Zone 8a)

Relax and enjoy Kell. They are 2 months away from being ready.

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

LOL Larry! I want them ripe and growing!!! As if I need anymore! LOL

Have you peeked inside yet?

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

No. I should maybe later when I get home from work.

I would definitely peek.

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Jeanne, you and Kell must be related to Susie. She was the best peeker I've ever known. I even went out and bought some of that liquid bandaid to seal up my cuts in the pods and then decided I'd leave them alone. Used the stuff on a finger cut one day and it burned. LOL!

Angleton, TX(Zone 9a)

Patience Kell. Those pods sure are big and no doubt hold some beauties within them.

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

With the lingering RK pods, I just stuck my fingernail in it and chunked out a piece of it. The seeds were still whitish. Then within a very short amount of time, they were ripe and the pods cracked!

Lima, OH(Zone 5a)

Way to go.........Please tell us how many seeds these pods held, approx. of course.

Cedar Key, FL(Zone 9a)

I have 2 pods on Amber rose that have been there since August

Vancleave, MS(Zone 8b)

Hang on Kell. Those monsters have to make something great. Good luck

Jones Creek, TX(Zone 9a)

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

Boy Shelly, you have good eyes. It is Jesse Noel. Isn't she a doll? The pink one is the oldest L'Amour bloom so it is pinker.

Denver, CO(Zone 5b)

She sure is a doll!! She looks nice and uniform.
