I wanted to say Hello, and introduce myself to everyone on the board. A couple of of members have taken the initiative to welcome me and this group has a very friendly feel.
I am retired and live on a 100 acres in far NE Texas, about 3 miles from the Oklahoma border in zone 7. We live in the woods on a small area, 2-3 acres from which we have cleared the underbrush. I have a small, 8x16 GH, and grow a little of everything. I am trying to be a better rose and container gardener. Right now I am still busy finishing up the potting shed near my GH. I hope to use plans I found on this board to build a hoop house in the future.
The knowledge of this group is awesome and I have tremdendous respect for everyone's ability.
