Hi, these no longer suit the bed they're in... I have gone to near-xeric salvias and although glads don't seem to demand a lot of water (or anything) -- the strap leaves just don't do it for me.
Have enough for two people to get 5 or 6 (at least).
Here is pic of the last blooms this spring. I forget brand or name in particular. Also, I did inter-plant some bright pink ones which have never flowered, but it's possible you might get a hot-pink surprise!

HAVE nanus glad bulbs for postage or ???
I don't have any salvias, so what else are you looking for?
Or will you do postage for the glad bulbs?
Have these been planted this spring in Ca. and now harvested or what?
Maxine
They have bloomed this year, but you may be able to refrigerate/replant for another show...
I don't know if this is true or if it hurts (kills?) the plant... these (and one Gloriosa lily) are the only bulbs I've ever had.
I have a book somewhere that says "glads bloom [so many] weeks after they are planted" as if any time is fine to plant. I forget what the number of weeks is, will see if I can find.
I have never lifted them at all, and I get a big flush of bloom in the spring (just finishing)... then I get occasional blooms later in the year, depending on what the weather does... two or three years ago I had a Christmas bouquet of these glads and an ORANGE rose... we had a weird December... or maybe not weird, but different every year!
Hoping someone will respond who also knows the particulars on DOING this thing! I guess I'll drop in over to the Bulbs forum and ask!

Hi -- Sundry over in Bulbs forum says I should wait to dig until the foliage dies back some, giving it (the foliage) time to build energy stores to replenish for the blooms they have just produced...
But anyone who wants to speak now! I will "put your name" on some.
~'spin!~
Yes, please. I would love some. I'm new to this, so can only do postage at this time. Hope to have some bulbs available this summer, plus other plants as I repot. Be glad to send you something in bulbs, cactus or succulents then, too, just for being so nice now.
Thank you in advance for the bulbs (I hope!!).
Marilyn
Hey hi, and welcome to DG! If you post a little something to the Welcome Mat, you will surely find some members in your area!
I will put your name on a 'batch' (and Maxine, are you in?). We can talk about succulents at the time, or postage, as I really just want to get rid of these and don't need much or have much room for anything (HA-HA, like that ever stopped a gardener from getting more plants!!!)
I will go out in a little while and see how many I actually have and report back if I need one more taker -- they have divided -- at least I'm pretty sure I only planted 6 a few years ago...

I sure am in!! Looking forward to receiving the bulbs. Wondering if I should plant them out with mine and then dig in the fall like I usually do or what?
I have never seen that color before.
I will send out priority mail stamps when and where you want them.
Maxine
Thanks so much, Crystal. I'll remember you when it's time to divide. I'm going to start a list of people who want/need/deserve certain plants so I don't forget anyone later on. Want some pregnant onion? I do have a lot of that and am sending some out to someone else. That offer isn't necessarily in exchange for the glads. I'm sure you'd like the postage $$ or something nicer for them.
Let me know via email when you're ready and I'll put the $$ in the mail and let you know my address.
Maxine: In your area you'll need to dig them up in the fall just like you usually do.
Again, thank you, Crystal!!
