This is a seedling that the name faded completely off the tag. I kept it because it grew so big and fast. I planted it in the garden last fall because I was not concerned about it getting frozen since it had no name.
It is starting to bloom now and maybe it will make a pretty tree. One branch broke off about a month ago so the canopy is not very full. This brug is 10-12 feet tall. I really had to zoom in to get a picture and with it being windy it is not a clear as it should be.
Looks like it is going to have some great color. Hope you will post the open bloom if the wind doesn't blow you away down there. We are having it here too. Just one of the "joys" of spring. :-)
