Hi
I've recently started some orange tree seeds inside to grow as house plants. When the seedlings came up they were almost white in colour. I thought that they might turn with time, but it has been almost a week and they have not changed colour. What can I do? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you
Orange Tree Seedlings
Are they getting enough sun?
Nina
I had them under grow lights for a while, then I moved them to a window sill about five days ago and still no change.
How are they now?
They are still almost white in colour, the second set of leaves are now starting to grow and they too are the same colour. I don't know how long they will last.
Is the Orange in a plastic pot?
No, they are all in clay pots.
I read somewhere on DG abut white seedlings dying off when they use all up the food stores of their seeds. I've never had this happen so I can't really help you. :( Hope it all turns out okay.
