Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

It sure is putting on a show for you!

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Boy, I wish I lived in a warm zone. Brug envy here. What a great picture.

Tellico Plains, TN(Zone 7b)

Picture size is perfect for this one I think. Would be a shame not to see all of it as large as possible.

Maxed my monitor screen for this one .Gorgeous !!!

Herbstein, Germany(Zone 5a)

Beautiful picture! She blooms very well for you.

SE Arky, United States(Zone 8a)

MCK, your brug is beautiful, so big, wow!! That is pink, isn't it? Sometimes they photo different than they really are. Are you the one that has the canaries??? I read your post, but never could find it again to reply. My cousin breeds Electras and one day, I'd love a room with my own Electra and blooming brugs!! SLike

Lima, OH(Zone 5a)

Wow! Nice, bet the smell is something?

Wish I could get that many blooms on a brug.

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

I love the 2 color look. So pretty!

The Heart of Texas, TX(Zone 8b)

SO glad ya'll like my pic. She seems to be a very happy camper. This is the one that I set down in a pot and the roots grew through and into the ground, she is still in the pot and has almost pulled the pot under ground! LOL . They are hardy lil plants aren’t they .lol

Yes, she is definitely PINK! This is a natural untouched photo… and not a very good one either- but it does show her doing her thing. She flushes here about every 7-10 days or so. I seldom fertilize her so it must be because of her genes and she just likes her environment.

Datdog, Here name "Wild Thang" comes from me looking at all ya'lls brugs that are all trimmed nice and neat...I didn't know they were supposed to be grown like that.lol

SLike-Yes, I am the same one that breeds canaries…

Kell-The camera is a SONY Cyber-shot 6x 2.1 meg.
It is a refurbished one from WalMart. It has been a great lil camera . I am still learning her particulars .

Thanks Monica…coming from you, I consider it a treasured compliment…I’m gonna go tell “Wild Thang” you think she is pretty and watch her blush again. Lol

Thanks…

Bonnie

Spokane, WA(Zone 5b)

I hope mine decide to do that "wild thang" too! WOW!

The Heart of Texas, TX(Zone 8b)

Thanks all...she's been a great starter brug. This one has always been healthy, always in bloom here and never lets the garden down. I will let her stay a "Wild Thang" because it is such a pretty site when she is full of blooms. The rest of my brugs I have been practicing on getting them to look like the real "brug trees".lol

Hibiscus, That is great you have canaries too. I love my singers! I have a pair going to nest right now. Hope they make some babies this year.
Mine are just green garden singers but boy do they sing!

Brugnanny we are going to have to meet because you are so close to me. Maybe we can get Willowwasp & a few others together for some pics for DG of the South Texas crew?

What a show, what a beauty!

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

I tried and tried to be good but everytime I saw this thread the words came blaring into my head............... over and over again.

All your fault Lottie!
Let's sing!

Wild thing
You make my heart sing
You make everything
Come on, wild thing

Wild thing, I think you move me
But I gotta know for sure
Come on and hold me tight
Oh you move me

Wild thing
You make my heart sing
You make everything
Come on, wild thing

Wild thing, I think I need you
But I gotta know for sure
Come on and squeeze me tight
Oh I need it

Wild thing
You make my heart sing
You make everything
Come on, wild thing

The Heart of Texas, TX(Zone 8b)

Kell you are so amazing with your gift of song!
Thanks so much you made my morning.;)
I think I will save it and put it on a garden stone for her.lol

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

LOL Lottie. I can tell you were not a rock and roller! This one was a Jimi Hendrix song. Most of my songs are from rock and roll!

SE Arky, United States(Zone 8a)

Kell posted: Most of my songs are from rock and roll!

My hubby would LOVE you!!! He has a pal that knows every word to ever R & R song ever written, we've never stumped him...

The Heart of Texas, TX(Zone 8b)

Kell you are very perceptive...lol

I like R&R but you haven't lived until you have a sing along to R&R music with a MACAW! He really likes it...it is the only thing that drowns out his noise.lol It really gets him going.

Actually, I'm an old flower child...
Hendrix,Santana,Clapton,Stevie Ray Vaugh are a few of my favorites. My folks were professional musicians and I grew up with a very broad appreciation for all music. Even elevator music.lol I just have to be so selective now because it really sets off the jungle here.
Thanks again Kell...I love the part:
Wild thing
You make my heart sing
You make everything...
seemed to fit the picture.

SE Arky, United States(Zone 8a)

How very interesting, MsC!! Are you professionally involved in music too?? Van Cliburn is my cousin and I can hardly read music, whew, but, like you, I have an all round appreciation...

The Heart of Texas, TX(Zone 8b)

Sherry,
We were all taught an instrument(I had to take piano lessons! YUCK) but they discovered rather quickly that they'd rather have me playing with my plants & critters.:) They couldn't keep me still enough to teach me.
I can't even sing in the shower! LOL
I didn't get the musical gene...it was passed on to my brother who has a Masters in Music Education and he is very gifted.
That's all ok with me cause I'd rather be here & in the garden anyway.

GOD's Green Earth, United States(Zone 8b)

That is one GORGEOUS brug!

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

My DH was a flower child in the 60s and 70s! LOL. He is the rock n roller more than I ever was.

I am like you Lottie, people pay me not to sing. I always wanted to be a great singer.

The Heart of Texas, TX(Zone 8b)

Too funny kell..you are our Song Leader we wouldn't be the same without you and your great songs!

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)
