Couple of Newbie question on brugs ...

The Heart of Texas, TX(Zone 8b)

Is the Versa color Orange, Peach & Salmon the same plant?

What causes the flowers on my Variegated White to be folded in half when they try to open? It's like they are deformed.

What's the best way to root a cutting of Peaches & Cream brug or any other variegated brug? I'm on my 3rd try for heaven sakes and dunno what the heck is up with this rascal !
What gives?
Thanks for any enlightenment:)

Versi colors Peach, Orange and Salmon are each different brugs.

Is it really hot/dry there? Might be why buds don't open correctly.

I root my cuttings in water, under florescent lights. How have you tried to root them? Cuttings ialso can be rooted in loose soil, not too wet.

Thanks so much Hibiscus!
It was hard to tell the actual colors on these brugs from the pics I was looking at. I don't really want to duplicate them so I appreciate that answer very much.
I have tried pretty much everything I think with 2 different variegated whites so far. I'm thinking I'm just jinked!

Water only/ inside & outside the house
Lights and semi sunshine
Good Loose Soil w/rooting hormone
Bad soil w/o rooting hormone
even pearlite w/water and rooting hormone.
With SuperThrive and without it

I even scarificed a few white dove feathers by moonlight walking backwards...NADA!(just joking of course)
I think I'll give up before I widdle this small plant down to the ground! LOL

Gosh I hate failure:)
Thanks again for the help.

Some cuttings just root better in spring or fall, not so well other times. Keep trying on others, if they root, P & C should also. Check real close for mites, when they move in, cuttings of any plant will not root easily.

Thank you so much.I will give it another shot and see what happens....then I will let momma get some more growth and maybe try again...
