My little weird buds

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

I have noticed none of my other immature, brug buds doing this. These are the baby calyx, no flower showing yet, there are a about 20 of them, all curled out like a flower at the end.

Tulsa, OK(Zone 6b)

That must be it, Kell. If it's pretty enough to name, you can call it Bashful!

Whitewater, WI

Cute indeed, Kell

Harrisville, MI(Zone 5b)

I'd say lack of moisture.Have you been smooching these buds as much as the others?Shame Shame! Get out there and get Bashfull to come out and play!

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

These have not had time to mature. They are almost brand new buds. They are tiny! Only about 2 or 3 inches.

Orange Park, FL(Zone 8b)

Kinda pretty like that, is there anything inside?

Cedar Key, FL(Zone 9a)

Kell, did you rip one open to see whats inside?

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

Kell, sometimes I worry about you living out there in CA and all the weird things that happen to your plants. Have you seen odd things in the sky lately? Live close to a secret government facility?

Grass Lake, MI(Zone 5a)

Yes Kell ... they are cute. Is it a seedling??

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

LOL Susie. I do get all the weird things. I keep thinking I have gotten every weird condition known to brugs and then another pops up. All I have to say is thank God for Monika or my brugs would be hitting the compost at a frequent rate.

You know Root, you may be right! This is in a small pot for its size. And it does dry out fast. It is an EDW.

They are so small, I do not think the flower inside has had a chance to develop.

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

I have to say I've never seen that happen before.
