Jean, I started a new thread because I felt we were invading King Horsie's one.

Muschito derived from a very common female kitty name in Germany, Muschi.

My pretty boy had been 'the resident cat' of a friend's Vet Clinic for some 2 or 3 years before I got him. During that time his name was 'Mono' (monkey in Spanish) which I thought was not a proper name for a much loved kitty boy. That's why I changed it.

And yes, I pronounce his name Mu-shee-toe.

Muschito is a grey tabby with a 'white shirt', 'white globes' and 'white boots' and has the most beautiful green eyes. And ........ he loves mom to pet him while he eats LOL.
