This is one yummy cake!!

If your're looking for an easy, delicious cake for any occasion, try this one. I made it for a bon fire party for my son's Varsity basketball team-mates and they devoured it! I also made it for a birthday cake and everyone loved it. It's great either frosted, or just dusted with powdered sugar. Hope you like it.

MILKY WAY CAKE
1 C. softened butter
2 C. sugar
4 eggs
2 1/2 flour
1/2 t. baking soda
1 1/4 C. buttermilk
1 t. vanilla
1 1/2 C. nuts
13 snack-sized Milky Way bars

Melt candy bars and 1/2 C. butter in a pan on VERY LOW HEAT, stirring. It will seperate some. Beat 1/2 C. butter and the sugar until fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each. Mix flour and soda together and alternate this into the sugar mixture with the buttermilk until smooth. Add melted candy (a little at a time to incorporate it) and mix well. Stir in the vanilla and nuts. Grease and flour a Bundt pan VERY well. Bake at 350 for 45 minutes to 1 hour. Frost if you like, or this cake is sweet enough to just dust with powered sugar.
