Hi, I just joined DG today, and from what I've seen so far, this is an AWESOME site, and I'm happy to be a part of it. I have 300+ plants, my favorite being hoyas. I also grow plumeria, adeniums, cactus. epis and succulents!!

Welcome Awanda!
I'm sure you've found the Tropicals forum, do note there are separate ones for Hoyas, Orchids, and Cactus/Succulents. Also Propagation which I'm guessing (based on your 300+ plants!) that you may be interested in too!
Look around, make yourself at home, speak up if you have any questions!

Nice to meet you, and welcome!

A big wave from a very cold zone....at least 6 months of the year. I managed to get ahold of a plumie so am growing one of the very few in this Province...looking forward to seeing pictures and/or suggestions! :)
Hello from Oregon. Welcome to Davesgarden. Gardening where you live must be a real challenge. Your hoya is a very nice one, does it bloom? I was given a piece of plumaria which I planted but have seen no sign of life in about a month so am getting tired of watering a dead stick. I have it in my greenhouse which also has some cacti and succulents and I guess you could say that I'm interested in almost anything that grows.
Mary E, the hoya pictured hasn't bloomed, but I have several in my greenhouse that have/are blooming now. Your plumeria sounds like it's dormant. I let mine go dormant in the winter and I don't water until I see new growth in the Spring. I have 4 in the greenhouse and 2 that are planted in the gound. All are doing great!!
Hi Awanda! Nice to have another Arizonian with us....I live south east of Tucson...near the border...so not as hot as it is at your place...I hope we can meet up sometime...we'll have another South Western Round Up I'm sure....lots of nice folks on here from AZ. Jo
Thanks for posting the picture of your blooming hoya, it's so tiny and delicate. Good things come in small packages. Have you found our hoya forum? And the cactus and succulents forum? Great places to post more of your plant pictures. I am hoping my plumeria isn't permanently dormant (dead) since it was just this stick in a plastic bag that was a gift and I don't know how long it had been in the bag. I keep thinking it should have some sign of life by now since it was planted about 6-8 weeks ago.
Welcome - just spent a couple of days in your state. The weather was beautiful! We went from Vegas to Phoenix, stayed there a day and a half, went east to Globe and then up to Holbrook thru the Salt River Canyon! WOW!! is the only word to describe it. I couldn't look down on some of the switchbacks, we were so high up over that canyon floor! Absolutely breathtaking! ...Enjoy the Garden!!!
Kooger, glad to hear you enjoyed our state. The Salt River Canyon is a site to behold! If you visit again, you have to put Sedona on your "to do" list. Thanks for the welcome!!
Blessings,
Awanda
