I have some Swan Plants I've been growing frm seed and today I saw my first Monarch fluttering about it. I live in upstate NY and wonder if it will survive the Winter. There are no pods on it, perhaps later.

HOPEFULLY YOU'LL FIND SOMEONE MORE KNOWLEDGABLE THAN I ABOUT THIS PLANT. YOU NEED TO FIND OUT THE ZONE THAT IT'S HARDY IN. HARDY BEING THE KEY WORD. WE ARE IN ZONE 5. ANY NUMBER HIGHER THAN 5 AND IT WON'T MAKE IT THROUGH OUR WINTER. CONGRATS ON A BEAUTIFUL SHOT.
