Didn't want you think that your request was being ignored so responding to your request.
I really don't have any information for you at this time, but have been doing some research and have contacted someone who may be able to help out. When and if I hear anything; will let you know ASAP.
Basically the only thing that I know, is that it is tropical; native of Burma, and that the flowers appear from February to April in Kolkata, new leaves are produced several times a year, and that it is a medium sized evergreen tree ataining a height of about 8-12 m. Leaves, 30-45 cm long, divided into 6-9 opposite pairs of narrow. Flowers arranged in long (50-75 cm), pendant.
Sorry I couldn't had been of more help to you at this time.

Try contacting someone at the Tropical Flowering Tree Society www.tfts.org they may be able to help. The TFTS is having it's annual Mother's Day sale at Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden this weekend so if you're planning to attend you may be able to speak to an expert in person.
Thanks to both of you! I'm going to Fairchild Saturday. I'm a member of TFTS. I'm hoping to get some information. I've already spoken to a couple of members. It seems I've not found the right person yet! But will keep trying. Let me know if anyone finds out anything. Two Love Birds have mauled it. It has no more leaves. The last little branch that had leaves gave up yesterday. That stem had been chewed on as well. I'm giving it sun and super thrive and hoping it will sprout again. PS....the love birds are still alive....I didn't squash them lol!
