Those are gorgeous. I would almost be envious, because that was the only one I didn' have with those colors. I found one at Walmart in Pompano when I was there the other day.

I saw the Walmart ones too. They're in a gold colored 3 gallon plastic pot. I don't know how much longer I can resist buying it, even with the hefty $8.99 price tag.

I have enclosed a pic of my Canna "Wyoming" which I grew from bulbs bought off ebay in january.

I forgot who I got my tropicanna from but it is real nice now too. heck there 14.95 here but we dont have as cool places to get plants from as you would down in fl....

Evening Elaine -

Not desert, but those are the rolling hills we live in. Our rainy season is Nov-March so they are green in the winter, but turn a golden brown as it heats up. They may look tame, but the brush is deceiving and can be 4-6 feet tall. That's the grass fires that can become so dangerous.

Here's a shot from a couple of years ago taken outside our back fence. Frightening.
