Here are my first Creamsickle blooms. Love this one!! The scent is wonderful - probably my favorite so far. Very citrusy-rose scented. I'm happy to see the second skirts fully dropping. This is the first day fully open, taking 4 days from first peeking out of the calyx. She looks just a little ragged because I've already 'deflowered' her. ;)
Here's the most open bloom.
Carter.
Creamsickle
Very pretty Carter. My creamsickle just got put in a new fancy pot. I'm hoping it will inspire it to bloom better for me. LOL....
That is very pretty, I want one just like that, really a special one!! Is it possible to purchase a Creamsickle?? I'd also like to find one like the photo Kell sent yesterday, I think it starts with an R, but I cannot remember the name. Yes, indeedy, those two are on my must have list!!
Pretty! I must add it to my want list.. I lost one recently and it's back on my list again!
This one's been very easy for me to grow. No special care. As a matter of fact, I had it in mostly shade in the ground. Once it y'd and started forming buds, I noticed they were dropping off while still tiny. Figuring it was the sun-issue, I dug it, put it in a pot and put it in sun. Not only did it never drop another bud, but it held the one's it still had when I dug it.
It also roots very easily... ;)
Very pretty, Carter!
That's just lovely!
I'm trying one more year to get Creamsickle to turn peachy. If it doesn't, I'll let it go. Hope yours turns color for you.
I love this one, Carter. A very good brug!
Nice photo (o:
Very pretty, carter. I see you've been playing bee. LOL
Shirley, mine never turned colors either. It got a peachy tint to it but that's all.
It is kind of disappointing, isn't it Ada? Maybe this year things will be better. My plant has been warned.
LOL Shirley, I hope it listens to you. I still love the bloom even if it doesn't act right.
