Culebra had a ton of buds but I couldn't control the heat shooting up in the day time and then the sudden drop at night. Anyway several survived and it is putting on more buds. Have been using the pollen and also having fun pollinating the Culebra. Now the wait begins.
culebra-now the wait begins
Tick-tock, tick-tock...........going to be a long wait!
Wouldn't it be nice if WE could control the outside thermostat?
Every weekend, it's gotten cold & rainy. It was 39 last night! It's not supposed to get that cold here this late in the spring. I know that I shouln't complain, Crestedchik & Snow have it much worse than I do, but still, it's a pain when the weather doesn't cooperate!
We had 32 last night. Water in birdbath was frozen on top. Had to bring everything inside, good thing I did! Tonite to be 35, geez............ will spring ever get here?
Lucky you Barbara! That is the only brug that I have managed to kill, not once, but twice. Granted both were very small cuttings... but this one is still on my wish list.. although I won't accept another cutting after my dismal failures with the two that are now in brug heaven.
Good luck Barbara.
Really Barb, good luck!
I hope you get lots of pods from your crosses and that they will provide you with some great "new" varieties. Lots of luck!!
Best of luck, Barb. Hope you get some beauties from them.
Crossing my fingers and toes for you Barb. Good luck
It looks great, Barb! Super healthy. Good luck with the crosses. I'm anxious to see some Culebra babies!
Every time I say "no more" I see one more that I would love to have. Culebra is on my must have list.
I thought mine was dead... but it's not. The main branch died back but the others look okay. I'll repot it and hope for the best.
Good luck, Barb.
