Have Rose of Sharon and Lily of the Valley Trees

Belfield, ND(Zone 4a)

I must have been going through a period of zone envy when I ordered these. They won't like it here in zone 4, so I'm hoping that someone will be able to use them. I ordered them from Directgardening.com and they are in the dormant stage still.

I have 2 Lily of the Valley trees and 3 Rose of Sharon.

I would be willing to trade them for:
hostas that I don't already have,

herbs that are perennial in zone 4,

shrubs that are hardy in zone 4,

ferns that are hardy in zone 4,

heirloom tomato plants, (I didn't get mine started this year because I was busy taking care of my Mom before she passed away, and no place here sells heirlooms).

or make me an offer, I don't really know what I need right now, but I'm working on a new landscape so you never know. I do need the perennials to be hardy in zone 4 though.

I would also be willing to send them SASE if I don't get any offers for something I can use.

What is a lily of the valley tree?

You've got mail....

Got your email Melissa, thanks.

I don't know much about the lily of the valley tree, except that it's Oxydendrum arboreum. The site I ordered it from says it's hardy for all zones, but I've since learned that it is not hardy here, but maybe zone 5.

I'd rather these trees go somewhere else rather than suffering a slow and certain death in my yard. I can't stand to watch that.

So, can anyone use them for a trade or SASE? Please?

Iris!!! So good to hear from you! I've missed you so much girlfriend. The Lily of the Valley trees are yours, and will be mailed as soon as I get your mailing address.

The Rose of Sharon's are still looking for a home, and I'll send them SASE to whoever can use them.

If one person can take all three of them, I'll even pay the postage. First person who can take all three wins! I just really need to find a home for these guys.

They are still dormant, but I've been keeping the roots wrapped in slightly moist mulch. PLEASE take them?
