I am a proud mama. I raised this passiflora edulis from a seed. I got my first bloom on her!!!!

She's lovely. I love her extra long white filaments. I have a P. Edulis that I grew from seed that I'm waiting on to bloom also.

Actually, I started the seeds in January of 2003. I put the plant in the ground in June. It must be pretty hardy. All my other passions die down for winter, but this one did not. This is its first bloom.

Great job. I started a bunch last year but didn't have the room to winter them over. Now I can see what I'm missing ;-)
