But don't buy one. I've got you covered. Mine are just about to bloom. In the fall I'll dig you a bulb.

Tim Chapman at Gingerwood also offers them.

thankies, BuriedTreasures!
hrm.. now i just have to convince myself somehow to pay that much for a single bulb (at the first link you posted)

It's tough, and there's very few I'd even consider with, but Amorphophallus is one of them. I bought that one, and 3 others from Dean a couple of months ago, including A. titanum. That's the most I've spent on something that small, out side of my wifes engagement ring. And in only 9 more years, I may get a flower out of it.

Dean, at Cooks, is a good guy, and will take care of you. Not quite as fast as I am at responding to customers questions, but real close. :-)

Buried treasure......did you get your amorph from Plant Delights? Did you pay that horrendous price for it? I sure wanted one, but Spouse would'a shot me. And I don't think that is one I could have slid by him. I am soooo jealous. How big was it? Oh, one of my voo-doo's is going to bloom, but it will be a short flower spike, the bulb is small, maybe like an orange.

Valrico, FL(Zone 9b)

Small like an Orange? That's a monster.

The A. titanum is acorn sized. The others range from .5" to 2.5" diameter.

I got my main personal ones from Cooks FlyTraps, and picked up 20 A. bulbifer from Sun Bulb, for resale.

It's still a new one for me, and I have no experience with it. Just one of those that I fell for.
Between this and Plumeria, I have to be careful.

Hey, Rooty, please post a pic of the bulb I sent you........so BuriedTreasures can see a "really big bulb". LOL I don't have a pic, but I know Root does.

Harrisville, MI(Zone 5b)

It is pretty good size.;0)
