A couple of months ago when we had our first spell of hot weather, I had to empty the greenhouse so everything wouldn't "cook." Since I had many Brug cuttings from fellow DGers I spread them all over the yard. Many are still small, but most seem to be healthy and growing.
The cuttings I took from my Charles Grimaldi and Double White are doing well and blooming (although the mother plant for the Double White cuttings, is just now setting buds).
Here's CG still showing some signs of yellow leaves from the cold, but fully loaded with buds after an initial bloom cycle several weeks ago.
Other Signs of Brug Life
They look good! I like how you say it got warm a couple months ago. not fair! You make me want to move to Califormia. :) Have they bloomed yet?
Happenstance, the love you have for your brugs is obvious, shows in your posts. Peaches & Cream is so cute, being bent over by buds...
Hopefully some will be in bloom when I visit this Sat. !!!
This early heat was no fun...neither I nor my plants were ready for it! Temperatures in the 90's in spring. No way was it nice! Unless you like the heat of course!
Gosh... they're all so healthy. Don't you get bugs there? LOL!
They look great!! Send some of your great weather to Iowa. We could use the warmth. LOL!
Great looking Brugs, Happenstance.

I think the wind blows them all into the neighbor's yard. :-)
We really don't have that many bugs, probably because I have my own private army of lizards.....about 1,000 strong I would guess. They are the cutest and friendliest very hungry critters. They are my best workers!
I do have my share of aphids in the spring, but this year there is a bumper crop of lady bugs and they are on them faster than I can find the soap spray.
And BTW, about that pollen??!! Did ya get my email, it's yours if you tell me how to get it. LOL
