Crunchy pickle help?

Hi all,

I've only been able to make crunchy refrigerator pickles. Is there a recipe for dill/kosher pickles that will come out with a crunch?

Is there a way of processing that is more likely to yield that crispness?

Hoping for that bumper cuke crop here
