Watsonias

My poor watsonias did not do as well this year. they got dwarfed by some poppies and were too shaded. I know Baa likes them so I thought I would post a few anyway.

They used to call this color ashes of roses. It is slightly grey.

I really like the color of this one. I wish I could get a good view of them . I have had to pick them which I do not like to do because then they do not send out new bloom shoots.

i like the color of the last one too. i'm parcial to the color coral anyhow. such a beautiful flower. ty for sharing.

Yes maam. I will do that. I couldn't believe there were no pics. I do not have names for these but they are certainly better than no pic at all.

I too was surprised at the lack of pictures and the lack of species. I have 3 borbonica hybrids. Here is a shot of "Early Dawn."

That is a really pretty color. I have had mine for a lone time-before I was too concerned about names. Looking at yours makes me want to add a few more. I really prefer them to glads as they bloom much longer.

I have got to get me some of these. Such beautiful flowers!
