I don't buy from ebay. Hopefully I will find out what this stuff looks like, so I can shop around here locally (knowing what I am looking for).

now that I know what it looks like, I should be able to go to some local places and find it. I was mostly curious about the price (wasn't going to buy it if it was too spendy). I'll go out tomorrow and see if I can find it. I'm going to try NW Seed & Pet first, as I need to buy some more "dirt" from them tomorrow anyways. Hubby says my hobby is expensive. WELL - let's talk about his computer hobby and compare, lol!

Last night when I was reading one of the threads, many people said they found Superthrive at Walmart or Home Depot, Lowe's, etc. Several people said they got it for between 7 and 8 dollars. Good luck-I'm going to look for it this weekend. If I can't find it, I'll be using your site to order from-thanks for the hyperlink.

Karrie...I ordered it from a site on the web and then found it today at Orchard Supply Hardware....others have said that Walmart carries it also! Good luck!
