here's a pic of my nanner tree..
it's pretty pathetic looking right now
lol
nanner pic
Looking good. Mine haven't been planted out yet. They would still shiver here.
mine never came in.. lol.. that's why it's so pathetic looking
it's in a pot so i can move it around, and to keep it from being prolific and taking over the yard, like nanners have been known to do around here
they're pretty hardy here
lol :)

Looks alot better than some of mine, wind gust over 50 mph snap the stem right off below the leaves, now its starting time all over again.Even snap the bamboo stems right in half also.
i've got the problem of the wind shredding my leaves..
there has to be some way to keep that from happening! lol
eek... you grow bamboo? lol
sorry.. i'm sure bamboo can be very nice in a controlled environment, but the only experiences i've had with it are where it's taken over people's entire yards..
lol
:)
I have an area between 2 driveways 3ft wide 80ft long, and its on the run!!!LOL
lol!
that does *not* surprise me in the least
hehe
bamboo and ligustrums are 2 things i can honestly say that i will NEVER plant in my yard ...when i get a yard of my own
ligustrums because we've had them in our back yard here for *ever* and we've been trying for years to get rid of them.. lol
and bamboo because it's just way too invasive for me!
i normally like invasive things, but that's just ridiculous
:)
Kim
Invasive plants are addictive for some reason, maybe because you can get a lot with just a little of the effort!!!LOL!
