Another cool snap.

Kannapolis, NC(Zone 7b)

After being in the high eighties during the day and fifties at night, Wednesday morning they are predicting 38 degrees. Lordy, I can't move all those Brugs back in for the fourth time. Most of them are under big oak trees, harding off until I can get them planted. I think I'll just move my seedlings inside and let the others suffer through it. This has been the craziest weather the past year and a half.

Brundidge, AL(Zone 8b)

wow i hope they are wrong

Westbrook, ME(Zone 5a)

38 isn't too bad. I bet it won't frost.... I've been leaving some of mine out and it still is getting that cold here. If you're worried you can tip the pots on their sides and cover the plants with sheets and blankets.

Montgomery, AL(Zone 8a)

They will be fine just where they are. A drop in the temps may even engourage them to bloom sooner.

Crestview, FL(Zone 7b)

They are predicting low 40's for this part of Florida.. I'm glad as my HG buds continue to hang on....

Cedar Key, FL(Zone 9a)

Sue,did you really leave some of yours out?I want to but I'm too scared...they are predicting snow tomorrow....

Westbrook, ME(Zone 5a)

I've been leaving just a few out on the porch and in the garage. If it gets too cold I take them in. It got down into the 20s the other night.

I am up to my eyeballs with plants in the house... I can't take it much longer!! LOL!

Cedar Key, FL(Zone 9a)

Git that there GH up and you won't have a problem......LOL

My GH addition goes up this summer.......wonder how long it will take me to fill it to overflowing????

Kannapolis, NC(Zone 7b)

Now, they're saying 37 and we're usually two degrees colder than Charlotte and they say there'll be frost. I hate this crazy weather.

Orange Park, FL(Zone 8b)

Gosh Ada, I'm sorry. I would try to leave them out too and just bring in the seedlings.
You close to Charlotte huh? going to have a short lay over stop there on my way to Indy.

Kannapolis, NC(Zone 7b)

Gosh, wish you had a longer lay over, I'd come and meet you. LOL

Orange Park, FL(Zone 8b)

Me too, I think its like 30 mins. probably enough time to find my other flight. I will have to check my return flight!

Kannapolis, NC(Zone 7b)

Patty, hope you have a safe and wonderful trip. When are you going?

Orange Park, FL(Zone 8b)

Ada it will be the later part of May for my daughters wedding!

Kannapolis, NC(Zone 7b)

Congrats to your daughter. I wish her many years of happiness.

Orange Park, FL(Zone 8b)

Thank You, I will pass the word on to her!

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Gosh Ada, I hope the weather forecast is wrong. I'm pretty sick of this cold April myself. It has to get better soon.

San Jose, CA(Zone 9a)

Life is funny isn't it...today it was 94 degrees in the shade...I am pretty sick of this hot weather, especially when it is only supposed to be spring! It is bad enough when it is summer!

Brown City, MI(Zone 5a)

Ada,

It could be worse.

We woke up to find that we had a hard freeze last night, then around 6:30 am it started to SNOW! The ground is covered in white, probably about 1/2" and it's still coming down.

It's hard to take ............. but their predicting 75 for Thursday. You know what they say about the weather in Michigan .......... if you don't like it, just wait a day or two and it will change.

Kannapolis, NC(Zone 7b)

Tree Climber, we've already had the hard freeze but no snow. We went straight from winter to summer and back to winter. It sure has me hustling getting plants in and out of the greenhouse. It gets too hot in the greenhouse when it's in the mid to high eighties so I have to move them out. I maybe should put them an air condition in the greenhouse and save my back until after the first of May. LOL I'm only going to move my seedlings and Versi's inside. The other will have to try to survive it.
