Nice rain overnight, we may be able to get a crop again this year. For a while we thought we might have to move MN down to the desert SW. It was very dry. We cut back on acres this year, don't have the fields that were 8 miles from home. All our acres are in view of the house. All of our machinery is in one place! We have everything planted & growing that should be by now. Even had time to spruce up the old farmstead. I am working on the rock garden/pond area now. Changed it & added on here & there. Our plan is for an addition on that side of the house. We will end up with a 4-seasons porch facing the flowers & pond. Also plan on bird feeders & birdbath there. I can sit in the nice warm/cool, no bugs porch & enjoy!
Started selling plants this week. Should go better this year, as we are only wholesaling to the people who own the store we used to rent. Hopefully the bottom line will look better!
We have another outlet in our own small town. We work on a percentage with the lady that runs thast store.
I still hope to get going on selling online someday!
