MT Magic's second season...

Woodsville, NH(Zone 4a)

of blooms. The flowers on this second flush are huge. They are very thick walled and feel like rubber when you touch them. Great pollen donor and sets pods easily.
She blooms dark pink all winter unlike EP and other pinks that bloom lighter in the winter months.

Sister MT Treasure is also a dark pink with a beautiful recurve. Also blooms dark pink all winter.

Now those are beautiful. Just my color.

San Jose, CA(Zone 9a)

Beautiful color and bloom. I don't think I have seen this one sold anywhere on the web! Where would it be available?

Woodsville, NH(Zone 4a)

picturelady, It's a new 2003 hybrid from one of my crosses.
The only place it has been sold is on EBay by my friend that grew the seed.
She has a cutting up for sale now but I know they are limited at this time.

Vancleave, MS(Zone 8b)

I drooling here lol. Very beautiful Snow

Denver, CO(Zone 5b)

OMG! They both look wonderful! MM has such great color all the way up the corolla. How is the scent? Congratulations on this cross.

"down the Shore", NJ(Zone 7a)

Gorgeous deep pink color and great form!

Woodsville, NH(Zone 4a)

They have a wonderful scent Shelly. My GH is attached to the house and tonight everytime the furnace fan goes on in the GH it is filling my whole house with their scent.
It was a long winter waiting for that great Brug smell again. LOL

Norwalk, IA(Zone 5b)

Very beautiful hybrids.... :-)

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Can't wait for my cuttings to bloom. I have two of each, so they should add some great color to the yard. With some luck then, I'll have Monika's great seedlings blooming right there too. Wow, I just can't wait for those.

"down the Shore", NJ(Zone 7a)

Not sure what Monika's seedlings have to do with these? Let's give snowhermit a well-deserved moment in the limelight!

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

John, please quit being so touchy. I'm just saying that with Terry's crosses and Monika's side by side, I'm going to have a great bunch of brugs to look at.

Angleton, TX(Zone 9a)

MM is a beautiful and I know Terry is proud of it.

I understand what you are saying Shirley because I have many great seedlings and cuttings that I am so proud of and anxious to see bloom. Life would be a little simpler if there was only one......lol

I know how giving you are and that you get as much pleasure out of sharing your brugs as you do growing your seeds and cuttings.

I wish everyone a wonderful and delightful spring and summer.

Brundidge, AL(Zone 8b)

hey sweet ladies send some of those beauties this way , or a seed or two :~))LOL, I was wondering just this morning and went to post and seen this thread first, who is the parents of these two beautiful girls? The Brugs not the ladies (but you are beauties also) very sweet and generous ones too i might add!!

Yukon, OK(Zone 7b)

Brundidge, AL(Zone 8b)

I am miracle growing them every three days, but i wish i could find some peters, I heard it was vetter with more minerals in it. I have looked every where and I can't find it.

Brundidge, AL(Zone 8b)

snow~ who is the parents on this one i am really interested in finding out thanks:~))

Yukon, OK(Zone 7b)

Amanda, I found it at Lowe's and Wal-Mart. It's fairly easy to find here.

I don't blame you for begging...LOL....I'm impatient too! But remember, I've never even seen a brug bloom in person yet. But I have growing buds on my L'Amour from Tracey and I can't leave the house for checking on them every few hours. LOL I don't know how fast they grow or take to bloom, but I would say the largest is about 5"-6" now...so I'm thinking birth could come at any minute now! LOL Wish me luck! I have the camera all ready for pics!

San Jose, CA(Zone 9a)

"Amanda, I found it at Lowe's and Wal-Mart. It's fairly easy to find here."

When I saw this...I thought you meant the brug ( not the Peters ) and was all set to run out the door!! LOL
OK..OK..calm down Margie...

You are like me...I have not seen a brug in bloom, other than my only one bloom on my dbl. white brug and I am waiting my second bud and for seeds to sprout, every few hours...although I think they have some days yet before they open and sprout!
What fun! Soon it will be every few MMINUTES for your watching! Please do post photos...Mom!

Yukon, OK(Zone 7b)

LOL Margie....you're a riot!!! I think you have asked every question that I've wondered about in a matter of a week! LOL This is a great place for information and developing great friendships! I've spent hours looking at pics of Monika's, Kell's, Brugie's, Snow's, Poppysue's, Alice's, Mary's....and I know a million more. (And they make beautiful wallpaper for my computer too) Everyone here is so very nice and helpful. They love fueling the brug addiction!

Brinda :)

San Jose, CA(Zone 9a)

Brinda, Don't you just love being in love with brugs?! (sigh...)

Barnesville, GA(Zone 8a)

Absolutely beautiful, Snow!
Just can't wait until they're on the market,
look out Europe, here we come, lol!

SE Arky, United States(Zone 8a)

Snowhermit, that is absolutely beautiful and is one that I would LOVE to have. Guess I'll have to make a trip over to eBay. SherryLike

Harrisville, MI(Zone 5b)

I agree Vi,I will have to butter up Shirley, does this mean it is released since it is on Ebay?I thought it was 2 full seasons before a Brug got released?

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Hey, I'm not giving up my plants.....LOL!! There is nothing written in stone saying you have to wait two years to release a brug. A lot of hybridizers want to see them bloom two seasons before they release them, but it is a personal thing.

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

LOL Root, I think you have already not only buttered Brugie up but breaded and deep fried her! LOL

Cedar Key, FL(Zone 9a)

Hey I'm sucking up too!!!!!!!

PPPLLLLEEEEAAASSSEEEEE!!!!!!!

Hattiesburg, MS(Zone 8a)

Snow, so beautiful. I am glad to hear they are good strong bloomers and their colors are good in the winter. Sounds like a good bloomer for the south with those thick walls. If you need someone to test it in the south, I am your person. LOL

Lima, OH(Zone 5a)

Hey! I will test it for you in Ohio, just say the word!

Orange Park, FL(Zone 8b)

ah Snow, such beautiful flowers!

Kannapolis, NC(Zone 7b)

Very pretty, Terry.

Woodsville, NH(Zone 4a)

Thanks everyone.
I've been so excited seeing how dark these have bloomed in my cool GH.
I have EP and Butterfly blooming now and they are much lighter than their summer color so these two have really amazed me.
I know many saw pictures of the deep color they were, grown in GA and IA so I thought I'd show a picture of the color they are in my cold climate.( We still have snow in the woods and the woodstove is still going)LOL

Westbrook, ME(Zone 5a)

They are both beauties. It will be exciting to see how they do this year for you.

Montgomery, AL(Zone 8a)

Terry, I think I need one of each. No, I know I need one of each. Just let me know when to expect them so I do not worry the postman too much.

San Jose, CA(Zone 9a)

I checked this one on e-bay, I tried...but it got alittle bit too expensive for me, especially since I am new at this & aren't sure I can keep them alive yet. $125.00 it went for!!! Really a beauty though.

Harrisville, MI(Zone 5b)

.start out with the old favorites, you won't be disappointed.

I could be wrong but I remember Butterfly x EP, possibly the other way around.

Harrisville, MI(Zone 5b)

I think that is right.
