Pretty,

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

I don't have this one. She does have a great look to her skirt. Is this one of Monika's that someone grew from seed? My memory is very short these days. LOL!

North Vancouver, BC(Zone 8b)

Yes it's a Monika.

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Thanks Liz. I was pretty sure it was, but thought I better ask.

Lima, OH(Zone 5a)

It's a beauty.

Thought it was one of Erics'? Doesn't matter, I don't have it.

I think I will just move myself into Abutilon's greenhouse...

Very pretty bloom. I think I saw it being sold on ebay some time ago. Shoulda snagged it then! :o)

Harrisville, MI(Zone 5b)

Great shape,it reminds me of the bubbles off a boat prop, the way the tendrils curl.

Don't have one like this John?

North Vancouver, BC(Zone 8b)

I do Root, Pretty in Pink is a sister to Taylor Dawn, they came from the same pod, from Monika.

Beautiful picture Alice!
I have repeated the cross. Two seedlings of it have a Y and tiny buds.

San Jose, CA(Zone 9a)

I love the color of this one...the one I saw on the internet was much lighter though. Which color is it in real life! A lighter rose or darker? Really pretty!

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

Very pretty Alice! A great shwoosh! LOL

Gee Liz, what color, what form! If I lived in Canada I would buy this one from you. Is it one your store? How come you get great dark pinks where you are and I do not????

Lima, OH(Zone 5a)

So it is really a Monika seedling. You sure know how to make them!

Love your "Pretty in Pink" also Liz, both are real beauties.

"down the Shore", NJ(Zone 7a)

Not sure what your problem is, rootdoctor, but that is two slurs on one thread. Thought that was over?

I edited because there is some question on the origins of this one. I believe the "someone" Brugie cannot recall who grew this one from seed was tiG; was waiting for that information to surface.

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

I'm sorry that I don't write everything down in a book and therefore can't remember everything. I don't have the time to go look it up either. Just wait until you are sixty years old. LOL! Congrats to Monika for hybridizing such a nice brug. TiG is lucky that she is the one that got that particular seed.

Angleton, TX(Zone 9a)

Beautiful blooms on each one. I wish you luck Monika with your new seedlings.

Denver, CO(Zone 5b)

gosh! They both have such beautiful color, and like Kell said "swoosh" :o)

Coal Center, PA(Zone 6a)

My fault. I just thought common knowledge this is tiG's.
I apologize for not all the information.

I have been honoured she shared Taylor Dawn with me last year.
She was very nice to do.

As with all plants that come from others .. and the priviledge to grow, I don't share without permission.
To those who inquired for cuttings, I will ask Bonnie first before doing.

Thanks for all the nice comments. And especially for the good info ..I always like knowing.

Liz ..
Pretty in Pink is just gorgeous. Too bad not easily available here.
It would be neat to grow together side by side to evaluate both siblings.
I DO like the 'swoosh' ((o:

To my knowledge, Taylor Dawn is out of the seeds, I had send to brugcrazy appr. two years ago. brugcrazy distributed the seeds to several members. Pretty in Pink is out of the same cross.

Lima, OH(Zone 5a)

I knew tiG had it and thought she named it, that's why I first thought it was one of Erics'..

Sorry.

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Hey Gloria, maybe you and I share the same "old" disease. LOL!! This is a beautiful brug. It would be great to see this one and the one Liz has growing side by side.

Brundidge, AL(Zone 8b)

beautiful none the less :~))

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

Alice, this is from monikas seed. You don't have to ask me before sharing, I've only asked one person this year to hold on to something, as I'm doing for them.

Kannapolis, NC(Zone 7b)

Both are beautiful Brugs. Someday, I hope to have them in my collection.

Whitewater, WI

lol, Alice...
I agree,
I like the way this particular "Lady" wears her skirt". :)

Lima, OH(Zone 5a)

Brugie, you did mean "young" disease, didn't you? Typigraphical error?

Kannapolis, NC(Zone 7b)

Well, Hibiscus, that does sound better. LOL

Orange Park, FL(Zone 8b)

I think they are breathtaking!

Brundidge, AL(Zone 8b)

very very pretty , such pretty pinks came out last year, I can only imagine what we will see this summer from the hybredizers here in the us, thanks to our friends over the pond.

Vancleave, MS(Zone 8b)

Both are very beautiful and I have neither hint hint.

Adrian, MI(Zone 5b)

Yes, they are both beautiful!
Bonnie
