Pink Beauty blooming

Coal Center, PA(Zone 6a)

I just love this one (o:
One of the very best. Always blooming. Always gorgeous.
For those hybridizing, this one has some excellent qualities to continue.

Pink Beauty & Rosamond came from the same pod I think, which would make them a lot a like. They would both have most of the same genes.

I like both of them and hope to make a choice between the two this year. Just can't keep everything. LOL! Very pretty picture Alice.

I'm a "pink" fan, will keep them both!

Color me pink too. I do not have pink beauty. I will be cutting back on what I overwinter this yr. With the new crosses I'll have, I'll have to be really selective on what I keep. Most will have to have something really special about them, either color, bloom consistency or for breeding.

I don't have a pink plant and I'd love to have one. Which one might work best in zone 8a?? I like flashy with lots of blooms, ha!! SherryLike

I am still happy with my unnamed pink sav. it was the best bloomer for me this past summer.I will have lots of new named pinks in my yard this year, but they will have a lot to prove after the show i got out of this one this past summer. I had people stopping on the side of the road just to gaze, that made me feel really good, but it didn't smell loud enough for me. it was very light, you had to get right up in the flower to smell anything. I had a whole row blooming like this at the same time. I called it my brug fence. I wanted to add that this peticular shrub was a cutting from the previous year. so it wasn't even a year old plant. Great bloomer!!

I have some pink beauty x EP crosses i can't wait to see bloom this year, I agree this is going to be a great year for the pinks. double pinks as well. I would love to see a white a pink striped one, maybe if we crosses p and c with a pink we could get one Hummm.....If it was as easy as thinking it up in your head......
